Sentry Lift® Endless Slings
Sentry Lift® Endless slings combine HMPE (High Modulus Polyethylene) webbing with a continuous-loop design for versatile rigging setups. They can be used in choker, vertical, and basket hitches, and are available in widths from 1/2" to 2" with vertical working load limits ranging from 1,600 lbs. up to 35,000 lbs.
BUILT FOR VERSATILE RIGGING
Because an endless sling forms a continuous loop, connection and load contact points can be rotated between uses, helping distribute wear more evenly across the sling body rather than concentrating it in one spot. During use, the sling body can also be spread apart to span the applied contact force over a wider area of the load, minimizing contact pressure.
SENTRY LIFT® ENDLESS CONSTRUCTION
Three design features work together to make an Endless sling easier to live with over its service life:
Continuous-Loop Design
The loop construction lets you rotate connection and load points between lifts, extending usable sling life and adding flexibility across choker, vertical, and basket hitch setups.
Contact-Pressure Spreading
Spreading the sling body apart during use lets the load's contact force spread across a wider area of webbing, reducing pressure at any single point of contact.
Optional End Taper
An end taper is available on select widths upon request, for easier hook and shackle connections.
INSPECTION & CARE
Endless slings, including Sentry Lift® HMPE slings, should be inspected before each use. Per ASME B30.9:
"Slings in contact with edges, corners, protrusions, or abrasive surfaces shall be protected with a material of sufficient strength, thickness, and construction to prevent damage." (ASME B30.9 (2021), Section 9-5.10.4(d))
Do not expose Sentry Lift® slings to temperatures above 140°F (60°C). While Sentry Lift® HMPE webbing provides substantially improved resistance to wear and damage compared to traditional materials, no sling can eliminate all risk of damage. Proper rigging practices, operator training, and adherence to all applicable regulations and usage guidelines remain essential.
Browse our sling protection accessories, including cut-resistant sleeves and wear pads, for high-contact points like sharp load edges and corners.
COMPLETE YOUR RIGGING SETUP
Pair your Endless sling with a hoist hook or rigging shackle rated for the connection, so the whole assembly matches the sling's capacity and service life.
