Crosby A-345 Master Link Assembly - G100
Crosby® Master Links
Master link assemblies are typically used with multi-leg lifting slings. Their design allows you to connect one or more legs to each sub-link, letting you use a smaller master link without sacrificing strength.
Made from quenched and tempered alloy steel, these master links are fatigue-rated to 20,000 cycles at 1-1/2 times the working load limit.
They are also individually proof tested (with certification). This testing includes a process that uses 60% inside width special fixtures to prevent localized point loading. The proof load amount is listed in the chart below.
The design factor is 5:1, and each master link is marked with a Product Identification Code that includes information about material traceability, grade, chain size, and more. The sublinks also have a traceability code.
These Crosby® master links meet or exceed all requirements of ASME B30.26, including identification, ductility, design factor, proof load, and temperature requirements. They also meet other critical performance requirements, such as fatigue life, impact properties, and material traceability.
