A popular way to secure cargo on a truck or trailer is to use an E track cargo system. This system of e tracking and logistic straps allows you flexibility in loading your vehicle with an array of options for anchor points across the bed or interior walls of the trailer. Logistic track works by combining a logistic strap with a specialized etrak fitting on one end and your choice of fittings to secure your cargo on the other end of the strap including ratchets, cam buckles, d rings and hooks. You can also use your E tracking system to secure load bars to hold cargo in place or increase storage space by creating a deck. If you have questions about creating your own system or you are interested in custom straps for your E tracking system, call customer service and speak to one of our experts.
How to use Load Straps
Cargo Straps can be ratchet straps, e track straps or any other type of logistic strap that is used to secure or strap cargo in place on a truck or trailer. Cargo straps from US Cargo Control are made from high quality polyester and are one of the best cargo straps on the market. (Comparable to Vulcan logistic straps.) US Cargo Control Cargo Straps make great cargo tie downs because of the high quality webbing and top of the line cargo tie down hardware used on every strap. We offer a wide variety of fittings for logistics straps and E-track that allow you to work with anchor points on your cargo, create an anchor system between multiple etracking installations, or build anchor points onto the E-track to tie down cargo with rope or bungee cords. The options with an E-track system allow you many options for securing any size of cargo and the only limit to your customization is the size of your trailer. Custom logistic straps with non-standard fittings, as well as printed cargo straps are also available. If you are in the market for a custom cargo strap, please call customer service.
Where to use Logistic Track / E Track System
E Track Systems are a versatile type of cargo tie down track often used in enclosed trailers, trucks and cargo vans. The logistics track is mounted on the inside walls and back of the truck in common cargo applications and is used with logistics straps to secure objects in place while in transit. Some customers install multiple rows of E track at different heights in the trailer to maximize use of the sidewalls. With the use of cargo load bars and/or wood end sockets you can build levels into your trailer to maximize load space. This is particularly useful when transporting products that are vulnerable to crushing so that you can isolate them from other cargo or place them above heavier cargo using E tracking to build a deck.
Don't forget the floor: for vehicle transport etracks are mounted on the floor of the trailer to secure cars and sport vehicles with ratchet straps or axle straps. E tracking has a low profile, so it won't get in the way for other applications once the logistic straps are unattached and stored away.
