Versatile X-Track Beginner Kit
The X-Track Starter Kit is your all-in-one solution for building a reliable cargo management system. Designed for enclosed trailers and vans, this kit combines the strength of a professional-grade track system with the flexibility needed for everyday use.
X-track functions like traditional E-track but adds greater versatility with its unique x-shape slot design that allows for both horizontal and vertical alignment - helping your straps stay straight and tangle-free in a wide variety of setups. And it's compatible with all E-track straps and E-track accessories!
X-Track Starter Kit Components:
- (4) 2' X-Track rails
- (2) 2" x 12' X-Track Ratchet Straps
- (4) 2" x 6.5" Rope Tie-Offs
- (8) Plastic End Caps
- (4) Wood End Sockets for X-Track
Constructed from heavy-duty 12-gauge steel and finished with a black powder coat, the X-track rails resist scratches and oxidation for long-term performance. Each track features 2" slot spacing and pre-drilled holes for easy installation.
The included end caps create a smooth end that minimizes tripping risk and allows easy rolling of wheeled cargo, while the high-strength ratchet straps have a short, wide ratchet handle, perfect for gripping. The wood end sockets are designed to hold 2x4s and can be used to create an inexpensive shoring beam, and the rope tie-offs can attach to almost any end fitting, so you can incorporate your existing straps into your tie down system.
What's the Load Rating on The X-Track?
Due to the many variables involved in installing X-track - the fasteners used, the mounting surface, etc. - we cannot provide a blanket working load limit. The track is designed to be at least as strong as any of the compatible straps and fittings we sell to use with it, but it is up to the installer to determine that the track is properly installed to provide sufficient strength. If you need assistance with this, consult your trailer manufacturer for installation suggestions. For more information, please refer to WSTDA T-5 section 3.4.
