Description

Shoulder eye bolt is manufactured in heavy duty forged steel and galvanized for corrosion resistance. Eye bolts with shoulders can be used for either straight line or angular lifts, though using in an angular lift will significantly reduce the rated capacity.

Please Note:
Loading at an angle will significantly reduce a bolt's rated capacity. A 75 degree angle reduces the working load limit by 45%; a 60 degree angle reduces it by 65%; a 45 degree angle reduces it by 75%. Never load at an angle less than 45 degrees from the bolt center line.

Appears good but..

I ordered 2 of these Galvanized Shoulder Eye Bolts to use in a king pin adapter plate which required a 5/8" diameter bolt. These are 5/8" in diameter plus some. I had to grind down close to 1/8" at the seam that is probably made while forging the product during the manufacturing process. Afterwards I painted the bare metal to protect it from rusting. Except for this minor defect I think they can be used for the purpose that I needed them for.

Thank you for the feedback. Quality is very important. I am having our Quality Team check in to this right away. I will reach out to you directly as well to resolve the issues you have had. Thank you again for taking the time to let us know, we really appreciate it!
