Description
Description
Save money and space with this versatile E-Track Ratchet Strap. These E-Track tie-downs are fitted with an E-Track Fitting and an Airline Track Fitting with Delta Link on both ends of the strap. This feature allows these cargo straps to work in E-Track& L-Track (also known as Airline Track), allowing you to get double the use out of the strap.
E track straps are generally used for securing cargo in an enclosed van, truck, or trailer with Series E Track. The end fittings on this item hook directly into an E-track rail, positively engaging with a spring-loaded keeper to hold it securely in place. These cargo straps are constructed with a durable ratchet and a strong 6,000lb polyester webbing that resists abrasions, cuts, and stretching. Sewn-in tag lists working load limit information. Meets or exceeds WSTDA and DOT guidelines.
Size: 2" x 20' Blue E Track Strap w/ Spring E-Fittings& Double Stud.
Also available in 12' (Yellow) and 16' (Gray) size options.

Ratchet Use Guidelines
According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."

The ratchet end is nearly 5 feet long. When using e-track, you need a lot of room or a large item to make this work. Normally the ratchet end has a very short lead for this reason. I bought this to strap down a car on a car trailer and unfortunately, it just won't work for that given the excessive length of the ratchet end.
