This 18" military approved tent stake (NSN 8340-00-823-7461) is a Type III steel tent pin. The hot forged steel, with a red baked enamel finish, allows the tent pin to be driven into frozen ground and pavement. Commonly used by military for temper tents, solar shade systems, and LME tents. Our tent stakes are Made in the USA hot forged from high quality steel and come in a wide array of colors and lengths. Custom colors are available with large volume orders. Often called tent pegs by the English and tent pins by the US military, they are all simply different names for the same product.
