Combination rope offers the best of polypropylene and polyester ropes. The polypropylene core makes it lightweight and strong, with good dielelectric properties which means it won't conduct an electric current if it comes in contact with a live wire. A polyester jacket surrounding the core is a stronger layer than an all-propylene rope. Unaffected by water so it retains its strength even when wet; extremely resistant to mold, mildew, rotting, petroleum products, marine organisms, and most alkalis and acids. Easy to splice so it's ideal for a wide variety of uses, including safety rope, dock line rope, lock line rope, guy rope and electric utility rope.
