Twisted combination design creates the best of both polypropylene and polyester ropes. The polypropylene core makes it lightweight and strong, with good dielelectric properties so it won't conduct an electric current if it touches a live electrical wire. A polyester jacket over the core creates a stronger layer than an all-propylene rope. Because it's unaffected by water, it retains its strength even when wet and is extremely resistant to mold, mildew, rotting, petroleum products, marine organisms, and most alkalis and acids. Twisted construction makes it easy to splice; great for a wide variety of applications: safety rope, dock line rope, lock line rope, guy rope and electric utility rope.
