#14 Type 17 Woodbinder Metal Roofing Screws

The screws on our metal roof had been there 26 years and a few had started to pop up. After being unable to find replacement screws locally we ordered #14 type 17 electro-galvanized 2 inch screws from fastenersplus.com. Delivery was very fast and free shipping was a plus. Our crew said the screws seemed to grip into the wood well as they were one half inch longer and larger diameter than originals. Time will tell if they hold up as long as the originals and without a rusty appearance. However, we now feel the roof is once again securely fastened down. Pleased with the speedy service and recommend them. (Review 09-13-26)
