Foam Cargo Load Assist Blocks - Fill Gaps, Stabilize Irregular Freight, and Stop Load Shift
No load fits perfectly. There's always a gap between crates, under a casting that won't sit flat, or where a strap meets a sharp edge. Our foam cargo load assist blocks fill those spaces so your freight stays put. The flexible polyethylene foam molds to uneven shapes, and the tough polyurethane skin keeps it from flattening or tearing over time. Wedge them between pieces of cargo, or between cargo and your tie-down straps or transport chain, for a tighter hold with fewer pressure points. The blocks stack, too, so you can build them up to match the gap. Buy them single, in a 6 pack, or in an 18 pack.
Where They Work
- Flatbeds and Box Trucks: Keep mixed freight from tipping or knocking together in turns and hard stops.
- Mixed-Height Loads: Stack blocks on shorter pieces, like pipe, lumber, or steel bundles that don't line up, so one strap or chain holds down the whole load.
- Enclosed Trailers: Stop tools and equipment from drifting into the walls. Pair them with our enclosed trailer accessories.
- Odd-Shaped Loads: Give machinery, castings, and fabricated parts the support they're missing.
Built to Last
- Durable and Rugged: Polyethylene foam with a polyurethane skin made for long-lasting use.
- Chemical and Water Resistant: Spills, rain, and grime won't break it down, and it won't flatten, tear, or degrade.
- Made for Harsh Environments: Holds up on the road, on the dock, and in the yard.
- Stackable: Build up two or three blocks when one isn't tall enough.
- Lightweight: Easy to carry, reposition, and stack.
Complete Your Setup
Set your blocks first, then tighten down your ratchet straps. Add corner protectors wherever a strap crosses a hard edge. For wide gaps between pallets, dunnage bags inflate to brace the load side to side. Round it out with the right tie-down hardware.
FAQs
- Foam blocks or dunnage bags? Foam blocks are best for small or irregular gaps. Dunnage bags handle wide spaces between pallets. Many haulers carry both.
- Can I stack the blocks? Yes. Stack them to fill taller gaps or to level out freight that sits at different heights.
- What pack sizes are available? Single blocks, 6 packs, and 18 packs.
- Do you offer bulk pricing? Yes. Ask about volume pricing for fleets and warehouses.
