Grade 70 fittings offer the same superior strength as grade 70 chain, which is designed and intended for use as transport chain.

All of our grade 70 chain fittings are manufactured with a yellow zinc chromate finish for quick identification, and also have a grade indication embossed on the surface (7, 70, or 700 markings are used, and will vary by manufacturer). It's important to note that a grade 70 fitting should never be used for overhead lifting purposes. Use only Grade 80 chain, Grade 100 chain, or Grade 120 chain equipped with the proper hooks for those applications.
