8' Axle Ratchet Straps

Keep your vehicle securely fastened with this 8-foot ratchet axle strap combination tie-down. This convenient 4-pack of car tie-down straps is an easy way to pick up enough straps to secure all 4 tires on the vehicle you need to transport.

Constructed from 2-inch, 12,000 lb. industrial-grade polyester, these straps offer maximum strength and durability

For safety reasons, it is recommended to secure all four tires when tying down any vehicle.

2" Axle Tie Down Strap Hardware

This car tie-down comes complete with a short handle ratchet, two twisted snap hooks, and a 2-inch D-ring. The D-ring is fully adjustable and works alongside a 2-inch x 1-inch square adjusting ring to move the ring to the desired location on the strap.

To further protect the axle strap, a 2-inch Cordura sleeve is used to protect the strap from wear and tear.

Be sure to check out our full axle straps and auto tie-downs category page for even more car tie-down strap options.

Axle Strap Ratchet Use Guidelines

According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
