Description

This fleece foam/padded strap protector will (1) protect finishes (paint, chrome, or other fine finishes on your vehicle) from the strap you are using to haul your automotive; (2) be placed over your ratchet strap to protect your cargo and/or protect your strap from any potential damage.

The 1/2" of foam padding provides a level of protection that will keep your cargo and straps in excellent condition. These sleeves will fit over webbing width up to 2". This item is not machine washable.

Ratchet Use Guidelines

According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."

Bad stitching

The stitching on the Velcro comes undone very easy. Other than that great product.
