Description
Our 3" wide tie down strap offers webbing with the break strength of a typical 4" strap, but without the bulky profile of a bigger tie down. The 20' length makes it excellent for smaller, heavier load applications. This 3" ratchet strap is fitted with wire hooks (also known as double J hooks) that are great for attaching to D-rings and other anchor points that are too narrow for a flat hook. This wire hook ratchet strap features a ratchet and hooks that all have a zinc coating over the steel to protect against weathering and corrosion. The strap itself is made of durable and weather-resistant polyester. This 3" x 20’ ratchet strap has a 5,400 lb. working load limit to help you get the job done. Ratchet Use Guidelines
According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
