Description

Right-Handed Lashing Winch for Trailers

When you need precise tension and a low-profile setup, 2" lashing winches get the job done without overcomplicating your securement system. Built for applications like hoop buildings, ag buildings, car hauling, and utility trucks, these winches are designed for controlled, reliable tie-down using standard hand tools.

Right-handed and tightened with a wrench, lashing winches give you the ability to dial in strap tension exactly where you need it. Whether bolted or welded onto your trailer, they offer a versatile mounting solution that fits a wide range of setups. Simple, effective, and built for repeat use, these winches are a go-to choice for operators who value control and consistency over bulk.

These winches are compatible with our winch straps, which come with a variety of end fittings.

Bolt-On Winch Features

  • Tightens on the left side.
  • Versatile Installation Options: Can be either bolted or welded on (screws not included).
  • Built-In Strap Storage: Can store up to 3' of 2"W webbing.

Tensioning

For tensioning, the WSTDA recommends in section 4.3.5 that "When using any winch, the winch mandrel shall have a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of four (4) wraps of webbing. Two to four wraps will appear like four to eight layers of webbing. Less than two wraps may result in strap slippage; more than four will place unnecessary strain on the winch. Excessive straps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the winch and may interfere with proper operation."

Better than expected

Fast shipping and the product was better than the product review. Used them to tie down a patio sail. Works great!
