Drop-in anchors are internally threaded expansion anchors designed for setting threaded fasteners flush with solid concrete surfaces. Ideal for overhead applications, fixture mounting, and anchoring where removability isn’t needed, these anchors offer permanent, tamper-resistant strength that’s widely used in commercial, industrial, and structural settings.

How Drop-In Anchors Work

To install a drop-in anchor, drill a hole to the required diameter and depth, then insert the anchor into the hole. Using the appropriate drop-in anchor setting tool, drive the internal expander cone upward to lock the anchor body against the sides of the hole. Once set, you can install a threaded rod, bolt, or fastener to complete the connection.
