Lift heavy-duty loads in a controlled way with a wire rope sling. When your wire rope sling is fitted with a swage socket, it can give you great capability in lifting and rigging.

A swage socket is mechanically pressed onto a wire rope sling to create a swage socket sling. This type of construction gives you the advantage of a very fatigue resistant sling where the cable and socket come together.

This wire rope sling has an open swage socket on one end, and a closed swage socket on the other end. The closed swage socket has a hole in it to fit a pin or bolt. The open swage socket already has a pin to fit another type of fitting or a hook block. This allows you to have a different type of functionality at either end of your swage socket sling.

Looking for the right size for your project? We provide swage socket slings with a wire rope diameter ranging from ¼ inch to 1-1/2 an inch. We also provide multiple lengths from 2 feet long to 20 feet long. The working load limit depends on the size and length of your swage socket sling, but it can range from 0.68 to 22.8 tons.

The wire rope sling discussed above has an open swage socket on one end and a closed swage socket on the other end. You can also purchase swage slings with closed sockets on each end or swage slings with open sockets on each end. Looking for the right fit for your next project?
