How to Install E-Track in a Trailer
It's always important to install E-Track right where it needs to be...but where is that?
Etrack comes in many different sizes (singles, 2', 5', 8', and 10 feet), as well as painted or galvanized. When putting e-track in a trailer, it is best to find the wall studs - the same applies if you are mounting it on the floor.
Installing E-Track in a Trailer
- Measure and mark where you want your E-track rails to be installed. Measurements don't have to be exact, but should be reasonably close and even.
- Using every 2-3 holes in the E-track and starting with the first and last hole, drill a screw through the E-track into the structure of the trailer.
- Be careful not to overpower the threads of your screw with your drill. Drill slowly.
- Once you've installed all your rails, add an E-track end cap at each end of your rail.
