Sound-Dampening Blanket | 72" x 80"

Our sound blankets are manufactured with a woven cotton/polyester shell around a 100% recycled cotton filler for the ultimate in absorbing sound. These are our thickest blankets - comprised of an 85g weight fabric - allowing for superior sound absorption when compared to our non-woven blankets in 30-35g weight fabrics.

A woven black polyester binding adds durability and they are machine-washable - just hang to dry!

Solid Sound Blankets, Iffy Quality Control, Fantastic Customer Service

I bought four of these blankets and I'm immensely happy with them, though I did have a few minor issues. Nearly all of the blankets had loose threads or extra bits of fabric, which were easy enough to snip off. However, one blanket came in with multiple tears in the black outer fabric. After reading some other reviews on the site for similar items, I discovered other people have had this problem as well. Thankfully, US Cargo Control's customer service team is fantastic and took care of the issue promptly after I reached out to them.

When there aren't any quality control issues, these are great blankets for the money. Super thick and easy to hang--exactly what I needed for my closet sound room. Just keep in mind that these some blankets are good for cutting down on reverberation (echo), not for soundproofing.

Great Sound Blankets

Well made. Nice and Heavy. Good Material and Stitching. No Smell. Using to block sound in a doorway. Works great. Keeps all sound in the room.

This is the second time we have orded these. They are very well made. I use these on the walls of my sound/music room. We also use them for some large windows to help with winter cold .
