Stainless Rigging Nuts

Stainless steel nuts come in a wide variety of styles and sizes for different rigging applications. The stainless steel construction ensures superior corrosion-resistance, and while all are available with right-hand threading, several are also available with left-hand threading for more specialized applications.

Types of Stainless Steel Nuts

We carry a full line of stainless steel nuts, including lifting eye nuts, wing nuts, hex nuts, dome nuts, and ball ends. All but the wing nuts are made from marine-grade type 316 stainless steel. The wing nuts are made from type 304, which means they do not contain molybdenum.

Lifting Eye Nuts

Eye nuts let you create your own lifting bolt - each nut comes with an eye that can be screwed onto an existing stud or bolt.

Hex Nuts

Het nuts - available with either right- or left-hand threading - are one of the most widely used nuts. They can be used in almost any industry, including rigging, construction, automotive, and more.

Dome Nuts

Dome nuts are used in applications where you want a more finished look. The dome top hides the screw and offers a more appealing appearance. It provides protection as well - the stainless steel nut conceals sharp edges that people could come into contact with.

This style is also commonly referred to as a cap nut or acorn nut, and is available in both right- or left-hand threading.

Wing Nuts

Wing nuts have two tabs (resembling wings) that let you tighten and loosen the nut by hand. This is ideal for applications where you do a lot of installation and removals.

Lag Inserts

Lag inserts have threading on the outside. One option has a smooth inner shaft, while the other has interior threading.

Ball End Nuts

Ball end nuts function similarly to the dome nuts. The primary difference is the appearance - these stainless steel nuts are shaped like a sphere instead of a dome.

Flat End Nuts

Flat end nuts are designed to line up with the very end of the bolt, creating a flat surface.
