Manufactured in lightweight aluminum, the 60"L tool box from Merritt® equipment makes an excellent tool box for trucks, as it mounts easily on the underside of a semi truck, flatbed truck or trailer for easy-access, space-saving storage.
Single door style with piano-style hinge features lap joint weld construction that creates material overlap at the corners for added strength over a traditional butt weld. The door frame's extruded design has automotive-grade seals and UHMV (ultra high molecular weight) plastic on the inside striker plate for an excellent weather-tight seal. Locakable stainless steel cup latch has an easy-open T-handle. A #8 grade smooth polished finish give this heavy-duty box a sharp look (smooth aluminum storage boxes are shipped with a coating for protection that's to be removed upon installation).
