Crosby has been a leader in the rigging and lifting industry for years and takes no shortcuts when it comes to manufacturing chain and rigging hardware. Crosby chain slings are manufactured right here in the USA and expertly assembled by US Cargo Control.

Crosby Chain Components

The chain slings labelled as domestic with Crosby parts are made with Peerless grade 100 chain and Crosby end fittings, master links, and connecting links. Those labelled as Crosby are made from all Crosby components, including the grade 100 chain.

Standard Chain Slings vs. Adjustable Chain Slings

Standard and adjustable slings can both be configured a number of ways to ensure they meet the needs of the lift. Several different options are available, including number of legs, size of chain, and length of chain. Custom options for various end fittings are also available by calling our sales team.

Standard Crosby chain sling

Features one, two, three, or four lengths of chain, each with a master oblong link at the top, and your choice of hooks: foundry hook, grab hook, sling hook, or self-locking hook.

Adjustable Crosby chain sling

Designed with the same leg configuration as a standard chain sling, but includes Crosby"s revolutionary Eliminator that enable the operator to shorten the length of the legs as needed. Foundry hooks, grab hooks, sling hooks, or self-locking hooks are all available end fittings on Crosby adjustable chain slings.

Proof Testing

Proof testing has been done on every link of chain to ensure its working load limit. To get your custom chain sling tested at the time of manufacture, it must be requested when the order is placed with our sales specialists. For an additional fee, we will proof test your sling and issue a certificate when requested at the time the order is placed.

All of our chain meets or exceeds the latest guidelines of the National Association of Chain Manufacturers (NACM), ANSI B30.9 standards and OSHA specifications.
