Galvanized steel thimble is intended for light duty jobs. The hot dip galvanization process involves dipping the fabricated metal into molten zinc. The metal reacts to create a tightly bonded alloy coating that results in superior corrosion resistance that adds longevity to the thimble, even when used in adverse conditions.
The G-411 meets performance requirements of Federal Specification FF-T-276b Type II (except for provisions required of the contractor).
