Braided slings offer you the ability to lift high-capacity loads with ease. Your crane lifting can be done more safely using a braided sling because these have higher rated capacities, resistance to rotation, and increased friction to grip loads.
The 3 part braided sling consists of a 3 part braided body with a locked eye at each end. This sling is made with Extra Improved Plow (EIP) steel, and it has an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC). The IWRC is the strongest core option to ensure you can more safely and successfully perform your crane lifts. You can customize your 3 part braided sling to your needs with multiple diameter and length options available to give you the rated capacity you need for your next project. The diameter can range from ¼ to 1-1/2 inch, and the length can range from 2 to 20 feet.
You can use braided slings like this one in three different ways: vertically, with a choker hitch, or with a vertical basket hitch. Using a braided sling vertically offers a good rated capacity for many applications. Using a choker hitch with your braided sling allows you to conform snug to your load and offers better balance, but it does decrease rated capacity slightly. Using a vertical basket hitch allows for the best rated capacity with your braided sling.
