Description

This diamond braid nylon rope offers a smooth surface that is resistant to unraveling, twisting, and abrasions, while also offering excellent handling and strength. Diamond braid ropes tend to be a little more flat compared to other braided constructions, and makes it good for a variety of applications from anchor and mooring lines to using with pulleys. The nylon material creates elasticity under load so it can absorb load shocks that might break other types of rope under the same application. This rope will absorb water which can cause it to lose about 10-15% of its strength, but will return once it is once dry. Nylon rope will not rot, mildew, or react to gas, oil, alkalies, or marine growth.
