Description

A 2" x 30’ ratchet strap with flat hooks is great for cargo securement on a flatbed truck or trailer. The abrasion-resistant orange polyester webbing resists water, so it won't stretch, rot or mildew, even in damp conditions. Black flat hooks are coated for extra protection, and webbing slots have a defender that protects the strap from wear and tear. Ratchet component has a wide profile and smooth handle for comfortable use. Our ratchet straps meet or exceed DOT and WSTDA guidelines and are labeled with working load limit information. These tie down straps are available in lengths ranging from 12’ strapsto 50’ long tie down straps.

Ratchet Use Guidelines

According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
