Description
This 2" ratchet strap is an F hook ratchet strap. It is also known as a plate trailer strap because it is an excellent trailer tiedown or track tiedown. The wide handle ratchet and hooks all have a protective zinc-plated finish to last and be capable for you. Strap meets or exceeds WSTDA and DOT guidelines; sewn-in tag lists working load limit information. These F hook ratchet straps are versatile because they can clip into F track, but they can also be used on other tiedown points like D rings. We also have ratchet straps with butterfly F track fittingsthat are specifically for series F track.
Compliant with Industry Standards
All of our ratchet straps are tagged and stenciled with the working load limit to meet FMCSA and DOT regulations, CVSA and WSTDA guidelines, and North American Cargo Securement standards.

Ratchet Use Guidelines
According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
