Description
This 2" x 12’ ratchet strap features abrasion-resistant green polyester webbing that absorbs very little water so it won't stretch, rot, or form mold or mildew, even in damp outdoor tie down applications. The 12-foot length is versatile enough for a variety of jobs, and the ratchet strap has short wire hooks that work especially well if anchor points are shallow. Both the hooks and ratchet are zinc plated for extra protection. This double J hook ratchet strap comes in green, but it is also available in other colors like a 2" x 12’ yellow J hook ratchet strap. Our ratchet straps meet or exceed DOT and WSTDA guidelines and are labeled with working load limit information.

Ratchet Use Guidelines
According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
