Reverse eye slings are tough, durable slings that have the eyes and the body covered with cordura wear pads. Cordura will not increase the strength of the sling in weight ratings but is a tougher fabric that resists cutting and abrasion to extend the lifting slings life. The way the eyes are set, they stand at 90° angles from the body to allow for easier choker and basket hitches. They are also available with flat eyes, or a type 7, upon request though the reverse eye is typically most common. The reverse eye sling offers durability with cordura and the flexibility to be used in all three hitch types.
The reverse eye web sling is most commonly manufactured in 2" to 6" widths. If you are looking for a wider sling, we would suggest either the light duty cargo basket or the continuous eye wide heavy duty cargo sling. These wide body slings come in widths up to 12". They offer a wider body for stability but have a limitation the reverse eye doesn't have as they can only be used in basket hitches only.
