This stainless steel mounting ring is made from high quality type 316 marine grade stainless steel.  The clip has an unpolished texture but the ring has been polished to a nice attractive shine.  With a break strength of 6,000 lbs, this d-ring is meant for durability against the elements and pressure.  For an even stronger alternative, see our MR8.
