A tough twisted construction makes this rope strong, yet easy to splice and also prevents it from unwinding. The nylon fiber creates more stretch so it can withstand dynamic (shock) loads better than twisted ropes in other fibers. Ideal for jobs that require both strength and stretch, twisted nylon offers excellent resistance to rot, mildew, oil, gas, alkalis, marine organisms, UV rays, and most acids. For uses involving lifting, towing, tie-down and docking/anchoring, twisted nylon rope can be a good choice.
