Twisted Manila Rope - 3 Strand

Manila rope is a natural fiber rope manufactured from the abaca plant grown in the Philippines, and is sometimes also called "Hemp Rope." It's strong and durable, but because it's a natural fiber it is more prone to natural decomposition over time than man-made synthetic rope is. Manila rope is very visually appealing and holds knots well, so it's often used for landscaping. Its low stretch value also makes it a popular choice for tug-o-war game rope, climbing rope, stair rope, railing rope and obstacle course rope. General industrial uses include rail car pulling, block and tackle rope and general purpose construction rope. Manila rope is biodegradable so it's environmentally friendly.
