The Square Head Screw Pin Shackle, sometimes called a Trawling Shackle, is made from Type 316 stainless steel. With the additional element of molybdenum, the type 316 has better corrosion resistant properties than the more common type 304. These trawling shackles are commonly used in the marine industry for trawling purposes during fishing expeditions. These shackles are precision cast with a square head bolt pin.
