Description

Our stainless steel round pin chain shackles are made of Type 316 stainless steel which contains the element molybdenum. This additional element adds to the corrision-resistant properties of the shackles. Type 316 shackles are sometimes stated as mandatory in some marine, food processing, and textile finishing applications. Other features of this shackle are the over-size cast round pins. Our stainless shackles are made to RR-C-271D, Type IV B, Class 1 federal specifications.
