"Whether you’re looking to replace a single strap or need to buy a full kit
to tie down a new motorcycle, you’ll find it here. Custom straps are also available."
Tie down straps for motorcycles vary by size and type, but are generally in a 1" or 2" width in polyester webbing to make them easy to handle yet strong. Polyester is best for motorcycle tie downs because of its low stretch factor, which makes it easy to tension and stay tight, even when being transported.
Ratchet assemblies and cam buckles are used for tightening and while offer a quick method of tensioning motorcycle straps, a cam buckle will not tighten as tight as a ratchet strap. For that reason, cam buckles are sometimes recommended over a motorcycle ratchet strap if you’ll be using it on cargo that’s more fragile or has a delicate surface.
Hooks on motorbike tie down straps will vary, but generally coated S-hooks or double-J hooks are the best choice because the vinyl or rubber coating reduces the chance of scratches or dings on painted surfaces. Hooks also make it easy to secure straps if you’re using a tie down rail system like L-track or E-track.
\While we carry motorcycle ratchet strap kits, a variety of single motorcycle tie down straps are also available if you need to replace just one or two straps in your collection. Colored straps are a popular choice for a customized look. Coordinate your motorcycle transport straps to match your favorite bike colors or logo: an orange motorcycle ratchet tie down strap looks sharp as Harley Davidson tie down straps- or KTM for those with motocross bikes. Our green motorcycle ratchet strap kit is an excellent choice for securing a Kawasaki bike. Other popular colors of straps to match bike manufacturers include red (Honda) and blue (Yamaha). We also offer an olive green option to match military or camo color schemes.
Still can’t find the motorcycle ratchet tie down straps or cam straps you need? We can also create custom motorbike straps built to fit your tie down applications.
Additional straps for motorcycle tie downs you should consider including in your collection: handle bar straps, soft tie straps with covers, and cinch straps. A handlebar motorcycle strap is designed to loop around your handlebars and the tie down hook, eliminating contact between the hook and the bike. Pick up some of our soft tie straps with plush covers for an extra measure of protection. Cinch straps are general utility straps with Velcro, letting you compact excess webbing or any other gear into one neat, and easy-to-tote piece.
