One thing to remember when replacing an endless lifting sling is how to measure. When measuring the endless sling, stretch the nylon sling end to end and measure the sling tip to tip. Do NOT measure the circumference, or amount of fabric for the entire endless loop sling as this will give you a sling 2x the size you have intended. Make sure you measure properly to ensure the proper length is ordered. If you have any questions on how to measure your endless type 5 sling, please contact us. All of our slings are made to order with a standard lead time of 1-3 days for assembly prior to shipping.
More About Endless Nylon Slings - Endless Type 5 Sling
Endless slings are perhaps the most versatile of all nylon slings being able to be used in all 3 hitch styles just like the eye & eye nylon sling. This lifting sling can be used as a choker hitch sling, vertical hitch sling or basket hitch endless sling. Though a load may shift around more with a nylon endless sling, or type 5 sling, it allows you to rotate the wear points on the nylon sling to extend the sling life. All of our nylon lift slings are Made in the USA with pride and dedication so you know you are getting a quality product at a great price. If you are looking for a sling with a little less stretch, make sure you check out our polyester round slings which have a stretch rating of only 3% at their rated capacity. Though a polyester sling offers less stretch, a nylon web sling offers a wide body to help stabilize a load. If you have any questions finding the web sling you are looking for, please feel free to contact our endless lifting straps experts at 800-660-3585 and we will be glad to assist you in finding the nylon endless sling you need.
Sling Proof Testing Certificates Proof testing certificates can be supplied with your order for a nominal fee and must be requested at the time of order. Proof tests are performed in the factory where the sling is pull tested to 2x the vertical rating and officially recorded as proof for governing bodies. During the standard manufacturing process, only random slings during a production run are tested for compliance; in order to provide proof testing certificates with your order, every sling must be pull tested at the time of manufacture.
