By looking on the chart below, you will see the light duty cargo slings ratings max out in the basket hitch at 10,000 for the 12" wide up to 24" wide. This is due to the eyes of the lifting sling. This shows they are great for light duty applications, hence the name. The Continuous Eye Wide web sling can have basket ratings as high as 108,000 lbs. in a 2-ply 24" wide so strength is its asset. For light duty applications, try the attached eye wide cargo basket sling. All of our slings are made to order with a standard lead time of 1-3 days for assembly prior to shipping.
Attached eye wide slings, or light duty cargo basket slings, are for use in basket hitches only. The eyes of this web sling are sewn to a large wide body that is ideal for greater load stability and proper handling of delicate or finished surfaces. As opposed to the Continuous Eye Wide lifting sling, the sewn eyes are a smaller diameter to accommodate small hoist hooks. The attached eye wide slings are a good fit where a wide coverage is needed but the weight rating required is low.
Sling Proof Testing Certificates Proof testing certificates can be supplied with your order for a nominal fee and must be requested at the time of order. Proof tests are performed in the factory where the sling is pull tested to 2x the vertical rating and officially recorded as proof for governing bodies. During the standard manufacturing process, only random slings during a production run are tested for compliance; in order to provide proof testing certificates with your order, every sling must be pull tested at the time of manufacture.
